I really got into this book right away. I mean the way the author draws you in is amazing. Like we have secrets curses and reluctant alliances just all come together and makes a fantastic story. One that is full of duty and desire just collide.
So I didn’t realize this was a fairy tale retelling of the 12 dancing princesses super cool although I don’t remember this fairy tale I’m gonna have to definitely look it up and see what it’s about but I absolutely loved this book it really did such an amazing job. This book follows 12 sisters who range in age from 30-5 which is just crazy to me. Like I couldn’t imagine having that many siblings I would love it. But what I couldn’t imagine is being a prisoner in my own home cause that’s what they were but it wasn’t always like that and I liked that we got a back story as to what happened but still wow !!!
I really felt for the narrator which I loved this book had something like this. Justice. She just would do anything for her sisters. It was really heroic if you ask me. I mean I would do anything for my brother anything at all. Would he do the same eh I dunno lol but I love him anyways.
This is the type of book that stays with you and you will think of stuff thought the day.
